  1. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
  2. The Promotor is Loyalty.com.au as agent for Woolworths and the Good Friday Appeal Valentines ball and is offered to guests and friends at the Woolworths Valentines Ball aged 18 years and over.
  3. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries/claims and to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry/claims process or who submits an entry/claim that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. Errors and omissions will be accepted at the Promoter’s discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
  4. Incomplete, indecipherable or illegible entries/claims will be deemed invalid.
  5. Instant win prizes are only accepted if three only scratch panels have been removed on the card. More than three panels scratched voids the card. Hand the winning cards to the promotional staff to receive your $100 gift card form and allow 28 days from 17/02/18
  6. Promotion commences at 6.00pm 17/02/18 and ends for donations at 11.00pm AEST on 17/02/2018 or when stocks of promotional cards are exhausted, whichever is first to occur (“Promotional Period”).
  7. To be eligible to enter and receive a lucky ticket (while stocks of cards last) and one (1) entry into the Major Prize Draw, guests must donate a minimum of $10 in a single donation to the promotional staff at the venue.
  8. Multiple donations will be accepted.
  9. All valid entrants will be allocated a unique lucky reference number on their card. All unique lucky reference numbers will be entered into the Major Prize Draw.
  10. The Major Prize Draw will take place on 17/02/18 at approximately 10.55pm at the Valentines Ball at The Melbourne Convention Centre, One Convention Centre Place, South Melbourne. The Promoter may draw additional reserve entries in and record them in order in case an invalid entry or ineligible entrant is drawn.
  11. The first valid, randomly drawn entry in the Major Prize Draw will receive the chance to play for $50,000.
  12. The Contingency Game will take place at The Melbourne Convention Centre, One Convention Centre Place, South Melbourne, on the evening of the ball.
  13. At approximately 11.00pm there will be 40 sealed, security envelopes placed on the stage. Inside each envelope will be one of the following prize values: 5 envelopes will have a value of $50,000, 6 envelopes will have a value of $5,000, 9 envelopes will have a value of $500 and 20 envelopes will have a value of $250. The contestant will select one envelope at a time, until they have five matching values. Then, subject to verification by the judges, the contestant will receive a gift card to the value of the cash amount shown, or a cash payment via EFT, within 28 days of the Contingency Game.
  14. There will be a total of 6,000 cards available for this promotion.
  15. Total prize pool is up to $350,000. Prizes, or any unused portion of a prize, are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash, unless otherwise specified.
  16. If for any reason a winner does not take the prize, or an element of the prize, by the time stipulated by the Promoter, then the prize or that element of the prize will be forfeited.
  17. The Promoter shall not be liable for any prize that has been lost, stolen, forged, damaged or tampered with in any way. Tampering includes but is not limited to: use of intense light or other machines to aid in reading the game symbols, use of small marks or pin pricks to find patterns in the game symbols, use of magnifying instruments other than eye wear used in reading.
  18. If any prize (or part of a prize) is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the prize (or part of the prize) with a prize to the equal value and/or specification, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority.
  19. Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  20. Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including, the Non-Excludable Guarantees, the Promoter (including its respective officers, employees and agents) is not responsible for and excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising out of: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any variation in prize value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions; (e) any tax liability incurred by a winner or entrant; or (f) use of/taking of a prize.
  21. If this promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, including but not limited to technical difficulties, unauthorised intervention or fraud, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law (a) to disqualify any entrant; or (b) subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority, to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion, as appropriate.
  22. The Promoter collects personal information in order to conduct the promotion and may, for this purpose, disclose such information to third parties, including but not limited to agents, contractors, service providers, prize suppliers and, as required, to Australian regulatory authorities. Entry is conditional on providing this information. The Promoter may, for an indefinite period, unless otherwise advised, use the information for promotional, marketing, publicity, research and profiling purposes, including sending electronic messages or telephoning the entrant. Entrants should direct any request to opt out, access, update or correct information to the Promoter. All entries become the property of the Promoter. All personal details will be held and used in accordance with the Privacy Policy of the Promoter available at http://www.loyalty.com.au/site/privacy.php. The Privacy Policy also contains information about how Participants may complain about a breach of the Australian Privacy Principles or any other applicable law and how those complaints will be dealt with. The Promoter will not disclose personal information to any entity outside of Australia.
  23. Entrants consent to the Promoter using their name, likeness, image and/or voice in the event they are a winner (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period of time without further remuneration or reference for the purpose of promoting this promotion (including any outcome), and promoting any products/services manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter.
  24. As a condition of accepting a prize, each winner must sign any legal documentation as and in the form required by the Promoter and/or prize suppliers in their absolute discretion, including but not limited to a legal release and indemnity form.
  25. The Promoter is Loyalty.com.au, 11 Springfield Avenue Toorak 3142, as agent for Woolworths and the Good Friday Appeal as agreed.
